Welcome Dr. Ginsberg

WAKEFIELD COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL WELCOMES DR. STUART M. GINSBERG, JD, TO TEACHING STAFF

WCDS is pleased to welcome Dr. Stuart M. Ginsberg, JD, to its teaching staff. “I had a great career as a transactionaI lawyer for 35 years and worked with a lot of amazing people, but I had a moment of self reckoning and asked myself, what do I want to do for the rest of my life. I love teaching more than anything. I consider myself to be a lifelong learner and this is the concept that I most want to convey to my students at WCDS,” says Dr. Ginsberg. “My wife Mimi and I moved to county three years ago and we love Rappahannock County. We live in Flint Hill and we always knew about the School and its reputation for providing a great education for a great value.” The rest was written in the stars. Dr. Ginsberg will be teaching Modern European History, World History, Biology and Senior Thesis this fall. Having received his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry from U Penn and Juris Doctor degree from Georgetown University, Dr. Ginsberg will also continue teaching law at the George Washington University. He is an avid skier and a ski instructor and staff trainer at Liberty Mountain resort and is excited to organize this year’s WCDS Ski Team. “A beginner ski lesson is a microcosm of what goes on in the classroom. There is a need to differentiate in a

classroom: every student should have the opportunity to grow and learn but not necessarily at the same pace.”
