Our summer camps are available for preschool students through 12th grade and offer a variety of activities and experiences that will keep your child engaged and entertained. From outdoor activities to arts and crafts, there's something for everyone!

Camp tuition is due in full at the time of enrollment. If camp is canceled for any reason, your fee will be returned. On-campus space is extremely limited and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

General Summer Camp

Monday-Friday, All Summer Long
  • Teacher: WCDS Faculty
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Preschool (3 yr. old) through Fifth Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Cost: $250 per student per week. Daily drop-in rate $60 (if space available).
  • A safe and nurturing environment to encourage fun and learning. Play, recess, library time, gymnasium, in the care of trained, loving WCDS Faculty. Limited Space. Campers bring snack/lunch/water. Contact ad[email protected] to specify which weeks you'd like to attent!

LEGO Camp

July 3-7

  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: 1st-5th Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Join me for a week of projects using LEGOS! I will challenge all campers to be creative, and inventive. LEGO challenges will be presented for students to complete individually, or in pairs. After building all morning long, we will head outside for some fun in the sun!

Photography/Film Camp

  • Participants: Rising 6-11th graders
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • Photography, Film Making, Photoshop -- learn it all in this week-long camp. Learn techniques in story-boarding, editing, and posting your projects. Hands-on camp using top-of-the line Nikon DSLR cameras, iMovie and Final Cut Pro, and green-screen technology. Limited space available.

Art and Nature

  • This camp will include outdoor nature exploration with an investigation into the natural world with a lot of water fun. Camp activities include but are not limited to; nature crafts, beading, weaving, baking, painting and playing in the sprinkler or a slip and slide and much, more! Students are encouraged to explore the world around them and have the option to put their observations and findings into creative and individual creations!

Graphic Novels and Animation

July 10-14

  • Participants: Rising 1st-5th Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • Calling all authors, artists, doodlers, animators and graphic novel lovers! We will spend our mornings learning the ways of popular graphic novelists, drawing our own unique characters, and dreaming up stories frame by Frame. After a break and some lunch we will focus on basic principles of animation and learning how to use animation software. For a final project, students will choose their favorite graphic novel and make it come to life using their new animation skills. To top off the fun, we will have lots of time for prizes, games and waterplay throughout the week.

Junior Construction Crew

  • Participants: Rising 1st and 2nd Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Does your child build constantly? Do they love legos, blocks, forts and claim the title of master builder? This is a camp for them! We will use books stories, and pictures to help us gather ideas, then use the engineering process to help them come to life! We will have the classic toys available to use to make models and for free time, but then we will learn cardboard Construction techniques to help them become life size. In between Construction sessions we will stop for water and outdoor play.

Music, Spanish, recycled art, and outdoor play

  • Participants: Preschool-Kindergarten
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Join us for a week of fun with music, Spanish, recycled art, and outdoor play! Children will explore concepts of music through rhythm instruments, singing, listening, movement, and games that draw the ear to some of the basic elements of music like rhythm, pitch, dynamics, expression, scales, major versus minor keys, and simple rounds. We will also sing and play games in Spanish. In the afternoons we will focus on art projects made from recycled and natural materials and outdoor play, including water play on warm days. We will take our games, projects and lunch outside whenever possible to enjoy the fresh air and summer weather.

STEAM-Powered Engineers

July 24-28

  • Participants: Rising K-2nd Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • This camp is built for kids who like to tinker and explore! Each morning we will have time to create, read, gather ideas and invent. We will come together as a group to see if we can solve stem challenges, like building our own marble roller coasters, designing miniature boats, building newspaper chairs that can hold us. Campers will learn how to reinvent and shift their ideas, according to the design process, to make their projects more successful. After a morning of creating, we will take a break for water play and lunch. Then in the afternoons we will focus on art, either beautifying our projects from the morning or inventing our own magnificent things.

In the afternoon, we will do exciting water experiments and then splash around on the slip-and-slide! Don't miss this fun filled week!
