Audra Dickey Journalism Scholarship

Named in honor of the late Audra Dickey, wife of WCDS alumnus and Board member Rob Dickey, the Audra Dickey Journalism Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship available to new upper school students to WCDS (grades 9-12) who join the Journalism Program. Audra was an advertising sales representative for Rappahannock Media, known and respected for her thoughtful coverage of local stories, especially the small businesses that give Culpeper its character. The ideal candidate will exemplify Audra's warmth, selfless spirit, and commitment to local, community-centered journalism. The Audra Dickey Journalism Scholarship is an annual $5,000 award renewable for each year the recipient remains in the Upper School Journalism elective and in good standing with the school.

Applications due by March 1.  Decisions will be made and candidates notified by March 15.
