Many of these collages were made during a challenge game in which each student was given a packet made up of random magazine pages, various paper scraps, and other bits and then, in 30 minutes or less, had to create a collage using only those materials. Other collages focus on including only certain colors, playing around with juxtaposing images and/or designing around a theme.
“I encourage them not to fret too much about arriving at a ‘finished product’,” notes Mullany.
