Collecting cans for the Rappahannock Food Pantry has reached a fever pitch in the halls of Wakefield Country Day School.
Each year, organized by the WCDS Leo Club, the students compete to see which class will collect the most food in weight to then be delivered to our local Food Pantry.
“I like to think, ‘What would I like to eat?’ and then bring that to school,” says 5th grader Layla Kassira. “It’s obviously Pringles!”
