We thank the wonderful firefighters of Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department who visited our school this week to teach our children fire safety. They went out of their way to entertain and educate our youngest children. After exploring the pumper truck and the firefighters’ gear (very heavy!), our students walked away with bright red fire hats, fun memories, and lots of fire safety tips. How fortunate we are to have these fine volunteers in Rappahannock County.
