Our summer camps are available for preschool students through 12th grade and offer a variety of activities and experiences that will keep your child engaged and entertained. Summer Day Care

Monday - Friday | All Summer Long | June 3 - Aug. 16
  • Teacher: WCDS Faculty
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Rising Preschool (3 yr. old) - 5th Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
  • Cost: $250 per student per week. Daily drop-in rate $60 (if space available).
  • A safe and nurturing environment to encourage fun and learning. Play, recess, library time, gymnasium, in the care of trained, loving WCDS Faculty. Limited Space. Campers bring snack/lunch/water. Students signed up for Day Care for the month of June and August will shift into the Specialty Camps during the month of July for no additional fees. Camp during July will end at 5:00 PM for Day Care attendees.

July 8-12 Camps

Music, Spanish, Recycled Art, & Outdoor Play

July 8-12
  • Teacher: Julia Kennedy Carney
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Rising Preschool-Kindergarten
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Join us for a week of fun with music, Spanish, recycled art, and outdoor play! Children will explore concepts of music through rhythm instruments, singing, listening, movement, and games that draw the ear to some of the basic elements of music like rhythm, pitch, dynamics, expression, scales, major versus minor keys, and simple rounds. We will also sing and play games in Spanish. In the afternoons we will focus on art projects made from recycled and natural materials and outdoor play, including water play on warm days. We will take our games, projects and lunch outside whenever possible to enjoy the fresh air and summer weather.

Tinker Town: STEAM Crafts and Creations

July 8-12

  • Participants: Rising Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Calling all kids who like to tinker! We will spend the week building, crafting, experimenting, and working on projects that integrate art with science and engineering. Days will include stories, crafts, art projects, STEM challenges, games and outdoor fun!

July 15-19 Camps

Superhero Camp

July 15-19
  • Teacher: Ms. Padgett
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Rising Preschool-Kindergarten
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Calling all superheroes! Do you have what it takes to protect and defend? Campers will make and decorate their own capes and masks, write, and perform their own superhero skits, and look for ways around campus to use our superhero skills. Through stories, games, art projects, and a visit from some real-life heroes we will learn about different kinds of community helpers and what makes them "super."

3D Sculpture Camp

July 15-19
  • Teacher: Lyndsey Pheister
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Rising 1st-5th Grade OR 5th-8th
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • Clay, cardboard, paper mache, sewing and more! Each day will have new mediums to explore, projects to try out, open-ended art challenges, and fun.

July 22-26 Camps

Under the Sea Camp

July 22-26

  • Participants: Rising Preschool-Kindergarten
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

  • Mermaids and sharks and jellyfish, oh my! Did you know there are over 2 million creatures that live under the sea? This week campers will take a deep dive together to explore what lives below the surface of the ocean. We will enjoy stories about mythical sea creatures, play games such as charades and Go Fish, there will be crab walk races, shell necklaces making, bubble art and so much more. Bring those swimsuits or change of clothes because an under the sea theme wouldn't be complete without WATER PLAY!

LEGO Camp: Dream It. Build It. Wreck It. Repeat.

July 22-26
  • Teacher: Nikki Brady
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Rising 1st-5th Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Join Mrs. Brady and her massive collection of LEGO® parts. While campers build elaborate objects, structures and vehicles, they explore fundamental principles of engineering and physics. The day will culminate with one of the longest and widest slip and slides in town.

July 29-August 2 Camps

Art and Nature Camp

  • Participants: Rising Preschool-2nd Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • This camp will include outdoor nature exploration with an investigation into the natural world with a lot of water fun. Camp activities include but are not limited to; nature crafts, beading, weaving, baking, painting and playing in the sprinkler or a slip and slide and much, more! Students are encouraged to explore the world around them and have the option to put their observations and findings into creative and individual creations!

Adventures in Art Camp

July 29-August 2
  • Teacher: Kerrie Mullany
  • Location: On Campus
  • Participants: Rising 3rd-6th Grade
  • Hours: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Cost: $325
  • Drawing, painting, collage, sculpture, and more! This week, campers will explore a variety of art mediums and techniques while drawing inspiration from some of the great works of art history. Each day will include a combination of looking at and talking about art, sketching, work on specific projects, art games, and outside play time. Campers will also enjoy plenty of "studio time" for free draw, and experimentation!
