Five Wakefield Country Day School students earned All-DAC First Team recognition for their strong and efficient play throughout the season: Porter Gilliam, Connor Glennon, Pierce Mingione, Chris O'Heir, and Nile Patel. And, once again, Wakefield Country Day School has earned Player and Coach of the Year honors in Delaney Athletic Conference DII boys soccer. Stellar senior Connor Glennon has been chosen Player of the Year by all other coaches of teams in our division, and champion coach Gustavo Tisera has been voted Coach of the Year by the Delaney Athletic Conference.
This combination of top honors has happened seven times at WCDS since 2009:
2009, 2010, 2011 -Brian Shafran Player of the Year and Gustavo Tisera Coach of the Year
2012 Alex Foster Player of the Year and Gustavo Tisera Coach of the Year
2013 Tim Johns Player of the Year and Gustavo Tisera Coach of the Year
2015 Tanner Perry Player of the Year and Gustavo Tisera Coach of the Year
2017 Connor Glennon Player of the Year and Gustavo Tisera Coach of the Year
