New AED units and Stop the Bleed Kits and CPR training for students
Currently all WCDS faculty and staff are CPR trained, and the goal of the school’s Red Cross Club is to train as many high school and middle school students as possible as well. An Emergency Preparedness Committee was formed in 2018 by the Board of Directors. This group meets monthly and has recommended that the school increase the number of AED units it currently owns and begin purchasing Stop the Bleed Kits for classrooms in conjunction with training for faculty. Designating your gift to Emergency Preparedness will allow the school to purchase such equipment and train teachers and staff.
